Electro-hydraulic Thrusters
An electro-hydraulic thruster is a compact unit combining an electric motor, centrifugal pump and hydraulic cylinder: the main actuator for drum and disc brakes, and also for industrial valves, gates, swivel (up to 90°) and clamping mechanisms. Three ranges: Ed to DIN 15430 and YTD to JB/T 10603-2006, thrust 220–4,500 N, stroke 50–120 mm; MYT2, 100–3,000 N, stroke 25–120 mm, replacing (M)YT1. Cast aluminium alloy housing, dry motor, class B or F insulation, IP65; mounting at any angle within 0–180°. Options: limit switches, built-in spring, 5–30 s delay valves, heater.

Hydraulic Safety (Emergency) Brakes
SB and SBD are normally closed hydraulic emergency brakes for the low-speed (drum) shaft: clamped by disc spring packs and released by pressure from an SBH or YZBS hydraulic power unit. The SB series has 6 sizes with clamping force 50–400 kN for discs from 500 mm; SBD comes in versions A (100–315 kN, discs 800–1,800 mm), B (80 and 160 kN), C (250–425 kN, discs from 1,800 mm) and D (80–240 kN, discs from 600 mm); B and C replace the former SBB. Non-asbestos linings with a friction coefficient of 0.4 are insensitive to water and salt spray. Options: release, close and lining wear limit switches.

Electro-hydraulic Disc Brakes
YP are normally closed disc brakes with an Ed thruster for large cranes, handling machines, metallurgical and mining equipment. Seven sub-series: YP1 and YP11 (discs 250–500 mm, 20 mm thick), YP2, YP21 and YP31 (355–1,100 mm, 30 mm), heavy-duty YP3 and YP41 (630–1,250 mm); braking torque 200–33,600 N·m. Patented shoe clearance equalization, self-lubricating hinges, closing time 0.25–0.4 s, wear compensation, built-in springs with torque scale, plug-in linings. Release, close, wear and hand-release limit switches provide interlock signals to the PLC.

Electro-hydraulic Drum Brakes
A family of Huawu electro-hydraulic drum brakes in 10 sub-series for different mounting standards: YW/YWB to JB/T 6406-2006 with torque per DIN 15435 for new machinery; YWZ5/YWZE and YWZ4/YWZD to GB 6333-86 (replacing YWZ3); YWZ6/YWZF and YWZ2/YWZB to JB/ZQ 4388-86 (replacing YWZ, JCZ, JWZ, TJ2). Drum diameters 100–800 mm, braking torque 20–12,500 N·m, weight 22–692 kg. YTD, Ed or MYT2 thrusters. Patented shoe clearance equalization, self-lubricating hinges, spring in a square tube with torque scale; options: lining wear compensation, hand release, limit switches.

Explosion-Proof Thrusters
Explosion-protected electro-hydraulic thrusters for brakes and actuators in coal mines and in areas with explosive gas or dust. Ed Ex complies with GB 3836.2 and GB 12476.1-2000 with markings Exd I, Exd II BT4 and DIP A20T4 (dust zones 20–22); BEd is a mining version, Exd I, for 660/1,140 V with a Chinese coal-mine safety certificate (MA). Thrust 300–3,000 N, stroke 50–120 mm, power 250–800 W, weight 21–75 kg. Dry motor with class F insulation; three cable entry positions. Options: limit switches, spring, 5–30 s delay valves, heater.

HDB Lever-Type Disc Brakes
HDB is Huawu's new generation of arm-type disc brakes with cast arms: fewer parts, higher stiffness and transmission efficiency. It is driven by the compact in-house HED valve-controlled thruster with shorter response time. Two sub-series: HDB21 (discs 355–710 mm, 755–5,165 N·m, approx. 175 kg without thruster) and HDB31 (450–1,100 mm, 3,150–32,000 N·m, approx. 275 kg). Stepless lining wear compensation, IP65, anti-corrosion design for marine climates. The BMS-III system monitors clamping force, temperature, push-rod stroke and wear and transmits data via Profibus or CAN.

Shoe Brakes with Horizontal Thruster
YWH is an electro-hydraulic drum brake with a horizontally mounted Ed thruster. The series is intended for confined installations where YW, YWZ2 or YWZ4 brakes cannot be fitted. 7 drum diameters from 160 to 500 mm, braking torque 80–4,000 N·m, weight 30–150 kg. Mounting dimensions and torques to JB/T 6406-2006 and DIN 15435, Ed220-50…Ed2000-60 thrusters to DIN 15430. YW-series design features are retained: patented shoe clearance equalization, self-lubricating hinges, torque setting scale; options include lining wear compensation, hand release, limit switches and a thruster with delay valve.

Explosion-Proof Drum Brakes
Huawu explosion-protected electro-hydraulic drum brakes for mechanisms in explosive gas atmospheres. The sub-series mirror the industrial ones: BYW to JB/T 6406-2006 with torque per DIN 15435, BYWZ5 to GB 6333-86, BYWZB to JB/ZQ 4388-86. Drum diameters 160–800 mm, braking torque 80–12,500 N·m, weight 33–595 kg. Driven by flameproof Ed…Ex thrusters to GB 3836.2; the catalogue specifies gas groups IIA, IIB, IIC and temperature classes T1–T4. Shoe clearance equalization, self-lubricating hinges, spring with torque scale; BYW also offers wear compensation and a lining wear limit switch.

Electromagnetic Disc Brakes
MD are normally closed electromagnetic disc brakes: spring-applied, electromagnetically released, with manual emergency release during power loss. They are mounted on the rear end of the motor shaft or on the reducer's high-speed shaft. Three versions: B, basic, 9 sizes MD06–MD25, 5–400 N·m, shafts 11–65 mm, IP54; D, two brakes on one shaft, up to 2 × 400 N·m; E, corrosion-protected IP66 for marine use with A160–A800 connecting flanges, 9 sizes MD06–MD40, 45–2,500 N·m, shafts 28–90 mm. Supply AC 220/380 V or DC 24–205 V; optional release limit switch.

Hydraulic Power Units for Brakes and Rail Clamps
Huawu hydraulic power units for single-acting brakes and rail clamps. SBH supplies SB and SBD-C safety brakes (1–2 brakes per unit), YZBS supplies SBD-A, -B, -D brakes, YLH supplies YLZ wheel brakes (up to 8–12 per unit), and YZBA supplies YJA, YJD, YJE, YJJ rail clamps and YGZ rail brakes. Pressure 8–16 MPa, flow 8.6–32 L/min, motor 2.2–7.5 kW; dual-circuit versions (/2) control two mechanisms simultaneously or separately. Cone valves, an accumulator and a pressure relay maintain pressure; a hand pump provides emergency release without power.
