Wind Turbine Step-Up Gearbox CGC WIND-UP
Wind turbine step-up (main) gearboxes are a line CGC has pursued since 1996 as China's first specialised maker. The company pioneered gearboxes for 1.25–2.5 MW turbines in China; today 2.X–10.X MW classes are in series production, an 18 MW gearbox is installed and operating, and technical design for the 25 MW class is complete. Annual output exceeds 3,000 gearboxes, with over 30,000 delivered in total. GL and TÜV certified; designed for high altitude, low temperature, dust and salt fog. CGC took part in drafting GB/T 19073-2018.
