Coiler Gearbox CGC COILER
Coiler gearboxes are installed in the coiling section of hot rolling mills, where the coiler winds the finished strip into coils for further processing and transport. CGC's catalogue lists 6 models of the 8101 series (8101.680 … 8101.940B) with centre distances of 680–940 mm and ratings of 950–1,850 kW at motor speeds up to 0–400/1,200 rpm. Five versions have a pair of ratios, 2.37/5.36 or 2.54/5.27; model 8101.680 has a single ratio of 3.363. CGC supplies coiler gearboxes for ESP lines (Primetals) and down coiler gearboxes.
