Light-Duty High-Speed Marine Gearbox CGC GA / GQ
GA/GQ are lightweight high-speed marine reverse-reduction gearboxes that CGC has developed since 2001 on the basis of its licensed ranges: reversing, speed reduction and propeller thrust absorption in a compact, light housing. Engine power 200–1,600 kW, input speed 750–2,300 rpm, ratios 1.5–20.5; the selection table lists 31 models from GAS1023 to GAST16063 with thrust of 30–270 kN and weight of 520–5,600 kg. Single-stage GQS/GAS and two-stage GAST units have vertically offset shafts and suit single-, twin- and triple-engine plants.
