Wind Turbine Pitch Drive CGC WIND-PITCH
Pitch gearboxes transmit the rotation of an electric motor to the blades mounted on the hub: by changing the pitch angle the system adjusts the blade angle of attack to the wind speed and thus the rotor aerodynamics. CGC supplies them for onshore and offshore turbines from 100 kW to 10 MW to more than 30 Chinese turbine OEMs; annual capacity for pitch and yaw drives is 80,000 units. The 2025 catalogue shows models BJ2200SY, BJ2500YJ, BJ5000J, BJ6000HZ and BJ6500MY. CGC took part in drafting the Chinese industry standard for pitch gearboxes.
