ASZ/HASZ Aluminium-Housed Resistors ZENITHSUN ASZ
Wirewound resistors in an anodized 6063 aluminum housing: the alloy-wire element on a heat-resistant insulating former is potted with non-flammable compound that protects it from vibration and dust. ASZ range 40–800 W (housings 4020/4026, 6030/6038) and the high-power HASZ group 1–30 kW (housings 7045, 50107, 12840, 15061, 17565, 175145, 175220). Overload 10× rated power for 5 s and 25× for 1 s, dielectric withstand 1–7 kV AC. Options: built-in or external thermal switch, non-inductive winding, flying leads or metal terminals. For continuous full-load duty, select a resistor rated at 2–3× the load power.
