CGC shear gearboxes drive flying shears of hot rolling mills — plate, bar and wire rod lines. The catalogue table lists 7 versions: single-motor units of 600–3,000 kW at 600–690 rpm input with ratios of 17.27–22.47, and twin-motor units of 2 × 1,250 and 2 × 2,300 kW with variable speed (0–225/450 and 0–435/700 rpm) and a ratio of 5.368. Output torque 1,690–5,200 kN·m, centre distance 2,680–3,360 mm, output shaft diameter 558–730 mm.
