QP/CQPQP / CQP Series
Pneumatic Caliper Disc Brakes JINGU QP/CQP

Pneumatic caliper disc brakes for parking and service (deceleration) braking of mechanisms in hoisting, transport, metallurgical, mining, port and construction machinery. QP is spring applied and released by compressed air at 5–7 bar; CQP, conversely, is applied by air (up to 7 bar) and released by a spring. Size 12.7 fits 12.7 mm discs from Ø200 mm (QP force up to 6,400 N); size 30/25.4 fits 30 or 25.4 mm discs from Ø610 mm (32,800 N) with automatic lining wear compensation. QP offers four torque levels per disc diameter; the brakes run on an existing compressed-air network, braking time is set by a flow control valve.
