Shore Power Cable Reel XINRI Shore Power Reel
XINRI shore power drums (cable winches) connect a berthed vessel to the onshore grid: while moored and during cargo handling the ship shuts down its diesel generators, cutting port emissions. The motor-driven winch — drum, motor, reducer, base and control cabinet — pays out and retrieves the cable and stores it when no power is supplied. Mechanical stress in the cable is kept below a set value and cable terminations are relieved of load; on overstretch the shore connection circuit breaker trips quickly, with emergency stop and safety interlocking. High- and low-voltage versions are available.
