Rail clamps and wind-protection (storm-brake) devices for gantry, portal and transfer cranes. Automatically grip the crane rail on over-wind or power loss, preventing uncontrolled travel. Operating principle — spring-applied clamping jaw with electro-hydraulic or electro-mechanical release. Clamping force 160–800 kN, rail head width 60–150 mm (compatible with DIN 536 A120 / A150, ASCE 85–175 lb). Integrate with crane control, state limit switches, marine / port-grade corrosion-resistant versions available.
