YPT are special inverter-duty motors for AC–DC–AC electric drilling rigs: drawworks, mud pumps and rotary tables; mounting dimensions are unified with common drilling-rig motors. Types YPT-300…YPT-1100: 300–1100 kW, rated 600 V AC (YPT-970 — 700 V, YPT-1100 — 1200 V), base frequency 33.5 Hz at 660 rpm, maximum speed 1060–2400 rpm, efficiency 94.0–95.7 %. Frames 355–450. Class 200 insulation, pressurised enclosure with IP54 terminal box, forced ventilation by an 11 kW/380 V explosion-proof blower (d IIB T4) with air-flow switch, 220 V/200 W space heater.
