Modular engineering VFD evolved from the GD800 platform with reworked software, structure and components. Systems are built from units on a common bus: GD800-71 basic rectifier (356–929 kW per unit, up to 5,183 kW in parallel), GD800-91 active front end (422–1,214 kW, up to 3,642 kW; PF ≥ 0.99, efficiency ≥ 97 %), regenerative rectifier and GD800-51 inverter (355–720 kW, up to 4,100 kW; efficiency ≥ 98.5 %). Supply 3-ph 380–480 V or 520–690 V; overload 110 % light duty and 150 % heavy duty for 1 min every 5 min. V/F, SVC, FVC and V/F separation control.
